This is wind turbine that I built out of cardboard. It was the first design I came up with. Althought the voltage produced was quite satisfactory, lots of improvements can be made. For example, the large curved blades create enormous friction but not much lift. A good wind turbine must have an optimum lift to drag ratio. It’s also really heavy, which increases the moment of inertia. Science Olympiad Physics lab turbine.
